NAF General Purpose Vitality support is a broad spectrum vitamin, mineral and nutritional supplement for your horse or pony that undergoes light to moderate work. A horse's diet is a naturally high fibre, and this supplements mimics the continual grazing that horses guts have evolved to thrive on. Fibre releases energy slowly and is ideal for maintaining condition. This results in many leisure horses receiving enough energy from grazing and foraging, however fibre from grazing alone is unlikely to provide nutrients, vitamins that are required for health and vitality.
Hay and haylage are likely to be in particular low in vitamins and minerals and also some grazing areas are less than optimum, such as closely grazed paddocks, fast-growing grass and high rainful areas. NAF General Purpose Supplements provides a wide range of vitamins and minerals that may be required.
