Respiratory and Airways

Respiratory health is essential for performance! Horses are subjected to a constant respiratory challenge from fungal spores, pollen, and dust, whether they are stabled or out at pasture. Normally, the horse’s own defences remove these particles as they enter the upper airways, preventing the particles from reaching the sensitive lower airways and lungs. However, there are occasions when a healthy respiratory system is overwhelmed by these tiny particles, respiratory health is compromised, and performance may be affected.
